Steps for Windows Vista.
1. Click on Start and Type “regedit” in the search
2.Right Click on Regedit and Click on “Run as Administrator”
3. Click the (+) sign next to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
4. Look for a key called “.jpeg”. Click On it.
5. Check if you have "Content Type" and "PerceivedType" on the right hand side.
6. If you do not have such entry, you need to add it.
7. Right Click on “.jpeg” and Click on New and then New String Value and name the keys as "Content Type” and "PerceivedType" ( You need to create 2 String Values)
8. The value Data should be as follows
"Content Type"="image/jpeg"
"PerceivedType"="image"
9. Close Media Center and open it again and the issue should be resolved.
Step for Windows XP.
